How to order

Orders can be placed in the following different ways:

1.   By telephone to the Fledglings office on 0845 458 1124, during normal office hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.  We will be able to discuss your requirements and any other queries you may have. If you ring during this time and the answerphone is on, it is not because we are not there, rather that we are busy with another call so please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. 

2.    By post using the order form click here to download an order form.

4.    By fax to 0845 280 1530.

However you order, we will need your full name, address, landline telephone number and email address (if you have one).

Payment  in most cases is due within 14 days of the receipt of your order and can be made by cheque (made payable to ‘Fledglings’) or postal order or direct to our bank account by BACS telephone or internet banking (using the invoice number as the reference).  We cannot accept payment by credit or debit card.  For 1st orders and large orders we usually require payment in advance for individual customers.  We accept purchase orders from schools, local authorities and PCT's.  All goods remain the property of Fledglings until payment has been made in full. 

Postage and Packing is charged at 15% of the total value of the order, with a minimum charge of £2.00 on goods value up to and including £13.00 and a maximum charge of £10.00 on goods £67.00 and over.  The exceptions to this are swimwear and made-to-measure underwear where p & p is charged at £2.00 per item, and some large equipment which may incur a manufacturer’s delivery charge.

Delivery of goods is via Royal Mail and will be within 28 days of receipt of your order, subject to the availability of the products from our suppliers.

Returns  If you wish to return a product, you must notify us within 3 days of receipt. Products should be returned unused in their original packaging with any instruction sheets and in a fully re-saleable condition.  For reasons of hygiene, underwear, swimwear and clothing should be tried on over another clean garment. Payment of the outward postage and packing charge must accompany the returned goods.
