We have put together a list of questions we are most frequently asked to help you in using our service. If you can't find an answer to your question then please contact us.
How do I know if an item is in stock?
Most items can be ordered in promptly if they are not in stock, however, if you feel you would like to know what we have in stock please contact us.
Can I use a purchase order?
Yes, we are happy to accept purchase orders from schools and organisations.
How do I know what size clothes to order for my child?
We try to list some measurements in our brochure but if you are in any doubt please give us a ring. If an item is in stock we will happily measure it for you.
Can you offer gift wrapping?
Yes we do offer a gift wrapping service. We can then send the order directly to another address as a present if you wish. Please contact us for a quotation.
The item I ordered is the wrong size. How do I return it?
If the item you have received is not right for your child please let us know within 3 days of receipt and return it to us by post. We can then offer you a replacement or refund. Unfortunately we cannot cover any postage costs incurred by you in returning the goods and require payment of the original postage and packing.
I would like to support Fledglings. How do I make a donation?
To donate to Fledglings you can either send a cheque or contact us requesting our bank details for a Bacs transfer or to set up a monthly payment. You can also donate online through the website Mycharitypage.com. Full details on donating can be found at Donate now.
Delivery
How long does delivery normally take?
If the item you order is in stock it will usually be sent to you the same week. If the item is not in stock we will order it in for you and it will be sent within 28 days (but typically around 2 weeks). If we cannot send you your order within 28 days we will contact you. Please let us know if your item is required by a particular date and we will try our best to accommodate that. If it is your first order please allow time for us to send you an invoice for the order and for payment to be received before we despatch your order.
Can you despatch outside the UK?
Sorry, we can only despatch to the UK and Republic of Ireland.
How will my order be despatched?
Your order will sent by Royal Mail packet post, second class, to your address or an alternative delivery address if you supply us with one. Larger items may be despatched directly from the manufacturer.
Where is my order?
If you have not received your order within a couple of weeks please feel free to contact us and we can let you know how your order is progressing.
