The Bedtime Routine Fan uses visual symbols to create an everyday routine so that the user knows what is going to happen next and has a calming routine before each bedtime. The petals can be re-arranged into whatever order is appropriate for your own bedtime routine. It is a brilliant visual aid that can reduce stress and anxiety around bedtime.
Showing children one image at a time can help them process what to expect before bed and can help to reduce overstimulation before bed. The images are easy to understand to help the learner follow simple instructions and can help to create a consistent routine making bedtime calmer for the carer and child. This can be particularly useful for children with autism or help reduce anxiety for a child who finds falling asleep or bedtime difficult.
The Bedtime Routine fans can also encourage parent and child bonding along with improving mood, stress levels and behaviour. Bedtime routines are important for everyone’s health, having a routine can teach your child self-care, and improve their sleep as well as their memory, attention, and other cognitive functions.
The fans are double laminated for extra strength and are 125mm tall and 45mm at their widest point and can be easily popped into your bag if you are staying away overnight from home.
