Flat Seams on Inside: When we began asking for feedback on what parents would like to see in a sensory school product, the itchy seams in traditional shirts and casual wear were a frequent mention. Our tried and tested flattened seams help reduce the distraction of itchiness and sensory discomfort throughout the school day.
Easy ‘Slip-on’ Design: Getting dressed for school or changed after sports has never been more accessible! Despite looking exactly like a traditional school shirt with a complete set of buttons, only the top three buttons can be undone – allowing the shirt to be pulled on or off quickly and easily.
Softer Fabric: Stiff and uncomfortable fabric can be a significant source of sensory discomfort. Our softer fabric is gentle on your child’s skin whilst also providing the assurance of durability for all those hours on the playground.
Soft Collar: Stiff collars are a thing of the past with our Sensory School Shirt. The soft collar is gentler on the skin, offering enough support for a school tie.
Label in Pocket: Tired of cutting off itchy labels, which always seem to go missing when checking washing instructions? We understand how uncomfortable labels can be for children on the spectrum or those who experience any form of sensory overload. That’s why our shirt’s label can be found within the front pocket – eliminating any contact with skin.
