Description

The SimplyWorks Receive USB Wireless Receiver connects compatible SimplyWorks wireless transmitters to a PC or Mac. Acting as the computer-access hub of the SimplyWorks system, it allows wireless switches, trackballs, joysticks and other compatible transmitters to send their assigned commands to the connected computer.

Up to six SimplyWorks transmitters can be paired with the receiver simultaneously, with no restriction on the combination of compatible devices. For example, several users can each operate a wireless switch during a shared classroom activity, or a trackball, joystick and switches can be used together as part of an individual computer-access setup.

The wireless operating range exceeds 10 metres, allowing each transmitter to be positioned where it is most accessible. This is particularly useful in classrooms, group sessions and assessment environments, where equipment may need to be moved between users or used away from the computer.

SimplyWorks Receive connects to the computer through a USB port and does not require additional driver software. This straightforward plug-and-play operation makes it suitable for managed school, college and workplace computers where users may not have permission to install software.

Dedicated Caps Lock and Drag Lock LEDs provide a clear indication when these functions are active. A Pair indicator also confirms pairing and flashes briefly when the receiver successfully receives information from a connected transmitter.
