What Is Seamless or Seam-Free Clothing?
Seamless clothing is designed to reduce the raised joins, stitching and ridges that can make conventional clothing uncomfortable for people with sensory sensitivities or sensitive skin.
Different manufacturers may use the terms seamless and seam free. In this collection, products are selected because they do not have irritating internal seams where the garment sits against the skin.
Seamless Is Different from Flat-Seam Clothing
Flatlock or flat-seam construction can create a smoother, lower-profile seam than standard stitching, but it is still a seam. For that reason, products described only as flat-seamed are not included in this collection.
Some genuinely seamless garments may have joins positioned externally. These can still be suitable for this collection where the inside surface worn against the skin remains smooth.
