Each kit includes a different level of support, from simple reassurance and visual prompts through to structured routines and weighted sensory input.

Choosing the Right Foster Care Starter Kit

  • Essential: A simple starting point with visual communication and sensory tools for the first days of a placement.
  • Core: Adds more structured communication and routine support for children who benefit from greater predictability.
  • Enhanced: Includes additional sensory and weighted support alongside communication and routine tools.

All three kits include our First 7 Days Foster Support Guide to help carers introduce the products gradually and use them as part of everyday routines.

These kits may also be suitable for kinship carers and professionals supporting children and young people during changes of placement or home environment.
