The Butterfly Lacing Jewels are a beautiful hands-on learning resource combining threading, counting, colour recognition and fine motor play.
Made from smooth, chunky FSC-certified beechwood, each butterfly features colourful faceted jewels that catch and reflect the light. Children can thread the butterflies using the vertical and horizontal holes, creating sequences, colour patterns or their own imaginative arrangements.
Lacing activities help develop fine motor control, hand-eye coordination and the movements needed for early writing skills. The butterflies can also be used for counting, sorting, number recognition, colour matching and imaginative play.
The set includes 20 butterflies in five colours with three long laces, providing plenty of opportunities for individual or shared learning activities.
This product is made from FSC-certified wood. FSC certification provides a chain of custody showing that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests.
