The DMO® Essentials Child Leggings are ready-to-wear orthotic leggings designed to support lower-limb function, posture, pelvic stability and alignment. Targeted reinforcement panels provide structured compression and support for children with a range of physical and neurological conditions.

The DMO® Essentials Child Leggings are ready-to-wear orthotic leggings designed to support lower-limb function, posture and stability. They offer benefits similar to DMO® Custom made-to-measure leggings but are available in a range of predetermined sizes.
Carefully positioned reinforcement panels provide targeted support through the pelvis, hips, knees and lower limbs. This structured compression is designed to encourage improved alignment, posture and muscle function while supporting greater core and pelvic stability.
The leggings may also help improve internal and external hip rotation, increase body awareness and provide support for children with high or low muscle tone. Their ready-made sizing offers a practical alternative when a fully bespoke garment is not required.
The DMO® Essentials Child Leggings may be suitable for children who require additional support with lower-limb function, pelvic stability, posture or muscle control. They may be recommended for children with cerebral palsy, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, multiple sclerosis, lower-limb impairments or high or low muscle tone.
They may also be suitable where improved hip and knee alignment, internal or external hip rotation, core stability or body awareness is required. The leggings should be selected and used following guidance from an appropriate healthcare or therapy professional.
As orthotic compression garments may not be suitable for every child, professional advice should be obtained where there are circulatory, skin, medical or mobility concerns.

How to measure: Take a snug measurement around the widest part of the child’s buttocks and select the corresponding size from the table.
