Product Description

The Doidy Cup is a uniquely slanted open training cup designed to assist infants during weaning and beyond. The two-handled Doidy Cup features a scientific design with a unique slant, helping infants learn to drink from a rim, NOT a spout or teated bottle. The sloping shape encourages a more natural upward and downward motion of the hands and arms, teaching children to drink from an open cup and put it down correctly.

This innovative design supports typical weaning and benefits children and adults with various disabilities, including those with developmental delays, motor coordination challenges, or conditions that affect fine motor skills and sensory processing. The Doidy Cup aids in developing crucial oral motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and sensory feedback, which are essential for many people, including those with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other conditions that impact mobility or sensory sensitivity.

Key Features:

  • Award-winning scientific design – Trusted and recommended by healthcare professionals.

Mrs. Valerie Catto
Dowdy cup

Why the small handles they are so difficult for me and staff to hold to give my daughter a drink, as she can’t hold it herself, the shape of the cup is perfect but handles far too small for an adult to hold.

Hello Valerie, Thank-you for your kind review on the Doidy. I do believe the design of the product is to help children learn to grip the cup which is why the handles are small for adults. Thank-you for supporting us at Fledglings
Best Regards
Sophie
