The Glo Pals Light-Up Character is a water-activated sensory bath toy that glows when placed in water. Each character comes with two removable Glo Pals Light-Up Cubes that fit into the character, creating a bright coloured glow for visually engaging bath and water play.
Simply insert a Light-Up Cube into the character and place it in water to watch it illuminate. The cube switches on automatically when it comes into contact with water and turns off again when removed and dried, making it easy for children to explore light, colour and simple cause and effect.
The character can also be used for imaginative play away from the water, while the removable cubes can be used independently in water play, sensory trays or other suitable supervised activities. Each Glo Pal has its own personality and distinctive glow colour, allowing children to choose a favourite character or collect several for colourful water play.
Glo Pals Light-Up Characters may be particularly appealing to autistic children, children with sensory processing differences and other children who actively enjoy visual sensory input.
The water-activated light provides an immediate and predictable visual response that may encourage engagement with bath time or water-based sensory activities. The removable cubes also allow the activity to be adapted according to the child’s interests, from simple illuminated water play to imaginative games involving the characters.
Individual sensory preferences vary, so the intensity and duration of light-up play can be adjusted according to the child.

Remove the Light-Up Cubes from water after use, shake off excess water and allow them to dry thoroughly to help preserve battery life.

If your order includes items from more than one supplier, an additional charge may apply to contribute towards shipping costs. This allows us to keep product prices as low as possible rather than building delivery costs into every item.

Items supplied directly from some of our suppliers may use different couriers and delivery timescales. Please check the “Shipping Information” section on the individual product page before ordering.
Some suppliers may not deliver large items to certain postcodes. If an additional charge applies, we will contact you before processing the order.
We may be able to ship some items internationally. Standard shipping for small parcels to EU countries is typically between £15–£20.
Please note: Customs duties or import fees may be charged on arrival. These vary by country and are beyond our control. We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 2 working days of order processing and delivered to the address provided. Goods remain the property of Fledglings until full payment is received.
Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers. Where this applies, it will be clearly shown under the ‘Shipping Information’ section of the product listing. Contact us if you need more details.
If you change your mind or are unhappy with your order, you may return items within 21 days of receipt. Please allow up to 10 working days for processing. Items must be in new condition with original packaging and tags intact. If swim or underwear the sanitary seal MUST be in situ.
To arrange a return, sign in to the website with your email, then from your orders page select the item to return.
Important Notes:
If an item is returned in a condition unsuitable for resale (for example used, damaged, missing packaging or unhygienic), we cannot provide a full refund.
In such cases, you will be given two options:
If the item is from our own warehouse, we may issue a partial refund at our discretion based on the condition of the item. If the item is from one of our suppliers, we will liaise with them on your behalf.
Once your return has been received and inspected, you will be notified by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
As a not for profit CIC, we kindly ask that customers cover the cost of return postage. Every purchase supports Contact, the national charity for families with disabled children.
