VAT: Our prices are primarily displayed without VAT (Value Added Tax), as many of our customers qualify for VAT exemption due to disability. To benefit from this, simply complete a VAT exemption form, and we will refund the VAT on your first order. For future purchases, please create an account so we can update your account to VAT exempt status, ensuring that VAT will no longer be applied at checkout. The Glo Pals Sensory Play Jar is a refillable light-up sensory jar that transforms ordinary water into a glowing, colour-changing visual experience. Simply add tap water and the jar automatically lights up, gently cycling through nine different colours. Tap the jar to change the colour and create an engaging sensory activity for play, quiet time or visual exploration.
Children can personalise their Sensory Play Jar by adding suitable fillers, small figures, glitter or other favourite items to create different themes and effects. As the light shines through the water, the contents move and catch the changing colours, providing an ever-changing display to watch and explore.
Designed for children from 18 months, the jar has large soft-touch handles that are easy for small hands to hold and a secure locking lid to help prevent spills. When playtime is finished, simply turn the jar upside down to switch off the light.
The Glo Pals Sensory Play Jar may be particularly appealing to children who seek or enjoy visual sensory input, including some autistic children, children with sensory processing differences and children with other additional needs.
Its illuminated, colour-changing display can provide a visually engaging activity during sensory play, quiet periods, transitions or one-to-one activities. Because children have individual sensory preferences, the jar can be kept simple with water alone or personalised with suitable fillers to create a busier visual experience.
Important: Tap water should be used to activate the light-up technology. Glo Pals recommends removing the water and any fillers from the jar every 24 hours for hygiene.

If your order includes items from more than one supplier, an additional charge may apply to contribute towards shipping costs. This allows us to keep product prices as low as possible rather than building delivery costs into every item.

Items supplied directly from some of our suppliers may use different couriers and delivery timescales. Please check the “Shipping Information” section on the individual product page before ordering.
Some suppliers may not deliver large items to certain postcodes. If an additional charge applies, we will contact you before processing the order.
We may be able to ship some items internationally. Standard shipping for small parcels to EU countries is typically between £15–£20.
Please note: Customs duties or import fees may be charged on arrival. These vary by country and are beyond our control. We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 2 working days of order processing and delivered to the address provided. Goods remain the property of Fledglings until full payment is received.
Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers. Where this applies, it will be clearly shown under the ‘Shipping Information’ section of the product listing. Contact us if you need more details.
If you change your mind or are unhappy with your order, you may return items within 21 days of receipt. Please allow up to 10 working days for processing. Items must be in new condition with original packaging and tags intact. If swim or underwear the sanitary seal MUST be in situ.
To arrange a return, sign in to the website with your email, then from your orders page select the item to return.
Important Notes:
If an item is returned in a condition unsuitable for resale (for example used, damaged, missing packaging or unhygienic), we cannot provide a full refund.
In such cases, you will be given two options:
If the item is from our own warehouse, we may issue a partial refund at our discretion based on the condition of the item. If the item is from one of our suppliers, we will liaise with them on your behalf.
Once your return has been received and inspected, you will be notified by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
As a not for profit CIC, we kindly ask that customers cover the cost of return postage. Every purchase supports Contact, the national charity for families with disabled children.
