A larger, more stable sensory skateboard for powerful vestibular and proprioceptive input.
This Large Sensory Skateboard is designed especially for sensory integration therapy and is highly recommended for supporting children with dyspraxia, motor planning difficulties and sensory processing differences. The generous size provides a sturdy platform for a wide range of therapeutic activities in prone (stomach), supine (back) or seated positions.
The cushioned surface offers comfort and safety while encouraging longer engagement during therapy sessions. All edges are smoothly rounded to minimise the risk of injury, making the board suitable for clinical, school and home therapy environments. An integrated eyelet allows a rope to be attached (rope not included), expanding the types of exercises that can be performed — including guided pulls, directional work and linear movement training.
The board supports tonic labyrinthine reflex (TLR) integration, helping to strengthen primitive reflexes and improve bilateral motor coordination. Its smooth, controlled movement powerfully stimulates the vestibular system's linear receptors, making it particularly valuable for children with motor disorders that involve a sensory foundation, such as dyspraxia, low postural tone and challenges with body awareness.
This skateboard provides a solid, reliable platform for structured sensory movement activities, making it an excellent choice for therapy rooms, SEN schools and home-based intervention.
