The Large Wooden Padded Sensory Den with LED Lights creates a comfortable, enclosed retreat where children can relax, read or enjoy a quieter sensory experience. Designed for sensory rooms, specialist schools, nurseries and SEND environments, this spacious wooden den provides a dedicated area for calm activities, rest and gentle visual stimulation.
Featuring a soft cushioned base and integrated colour-changing LED ceiling lights, the den combines comfortable seating with soothing visual effects. The two LED lights are operated by remote control and can be set to a single colour or cycle through seven different colours, allowing the lighting to be adjusted to suit individual preferences and activities.
The den is also designed to accommodate additional sensory equipment, including bubble tubes and fibre optic strands. A padded corner section provides a designated position for a bubble tube, while openings in the ceiling allow fibre optic strands to be fed through to create an immersive sensory hideaway.
Manufactured from durable 18mm maple melamine-faced board with an off-white finish, this sturdy sensory den is designed for use in educational, therapeutic and sensory environments. Its generous interior offers a dedicated space for relaxation, quiet activities and sensory exploration.
Bubble tubes, fibre optic strands and UV strands are not included and must be purchased separately.
The den should be positioned on a suitable, level floor and used with appropriate adult supervision. Additional sensory equipment must be installed and used according to the relevant manufacturer's instructions.
It can be used as a quiet retreat, reading space or imaginative play area and may be particularly useful in mainstream and SEND settings where children benefit from having somewhere to step away from group activity for a short period.
