The LifeVac Anti-Choking Home Kit provides a compact and accessible emergency airway-clearance device for the home. It can be stored conveniently in a kitchen, dining room or another familiar location where household members can find it easily.
LifeVac is a Class I medical device registered with the MHRA in the UK. It has also received FDA De Novo authorisation in the United States following regulatory review.
The device provides a non-invasive suction method intended for use when established choking first-aid procedures have been attempted but have not cleared the airway obstruction.
Choking incidents can occur during ordinary activities such as eating and drinking. Households should know how to perform recognised choking first aid and how to contact the emergency services.
The LifeVac Home Kit provides families and caregivers with an additional response option when established first-aid procedures have been unsuccessful.

Each mask has a coloured identifier to help users select the appropriate size. Different individuals require different mask sizes, so the correct mask should always be selected in accordance with the supplied instructions and training.
The suction is created by the upward movement of the handle. Excessive downward force is not required.
Always follow the supplied instructions, training and recognised emergency procedures.
The kit includes access to video training and CPD-certified e-learning. These resources provide clear guidance on preparing for and using the device appropriately.
Household members and caregivers should familiarise themselves with the device and complete the available training before it is needed.
The LifeVac Home Kit is suitable for families, caregivers and households that want an additional choking-response device alongside their existing first-aid knowledge, equipment and procedures.
