The Textured Sensory Floor Tiles are a set of six interlocking puzzle mats, each with a different raised surface designed for tactile exploration through the hands and feet.
The varied textures encourage users to step, press, touch and compare the different surfaces, making the set particularly useful for sensory rooms, classrooms, nurseries and movement-based sensory activities.
Each 29 x 29 cm tile fits together like a jigsaw puzzle, allowing the six mats to be arranged as a pathway, square or larger sensory area. Additional sets can also be combined to create a longer tactile route.
The tiles are durable, easy to clean and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. A non-slip design helps provide a more secure surface during standing and movement activities.
The Textured Sensory Floor Tiles are suitable for children and adults who enjoy exploring different surfaces through their hands or feet.
They may be particularly useful for tactile sensory activities, sensory circuits and movement routes where users are encouraged to step across, touch or compare different textures.
The tiles can also support gross motor development, balance, coordination and motor planning when arranged as a sensory path or movement activity.
They are suitable for sensory rooms, SEND classrooms, nurseries, therapy environments and home sensory spaces.
