Meru PC Interface Kit

The MERU PC Interface Kit allows switch inputs to be used to control a computer, converting simple switch actions into mouse movements and keyboard functions.

This enables individuals who are unable to use a standard mouse or keyboard to access a computer using alternative input methods such as switches or joystick-style controls.

The interface connects to a PC and acts as a bridge between switch devices and computer functions, supporting a wide range of accessible setups for communication, learning, and play.

How does it work?

The interface converts switch presses or directional inputs into actions such as cursor movement, clicking, or key presses. This allows users to control on-screen activity using equipment suited to their physical abilities.

For example, a user can:

  • Use the included Moozi controller to move the mouse cursor in different directions
  • Use the included wired switches to perform clicks or key commands
  • Add additional wired or wireless switches for expanded control options

Key Features

  • Converts switch inputs into mouse and keyboard functions
  • Supports both wired and wireless switch connections
  • Compatible with Moozi directional controller
  • Enables customised, accessible computer control
  • Simple connection to PC for immediate use

What’s included?

  • 1 x MERU PC Interface Adapter
  • 2 x Wired switches (Red and Yellow)
  • 1 x Moozi controller (Black with mushroom knob)

Please note: Additional wired and wireless switches are available separately.

Why use a PC interface for switches?

For many users, traditional computer controls are not accessible. A switch interface provides a way to interact with digital devices using simple, repeatable actions.

This can support communication, education, and independence by making computers and software accessible in a way that matches the user’s abilities.
