The Navy Blue Adapted Cargo Trousers (V2) are designed to provide comfort, practicality and easier dressing for wheelchair users and individuals with additional needs. Made from soft cotton in a classic navy cargo style, these trousers combine everyday clothing with thoughtful adaptive features that support both independent dressing and assisted dressing.
Full-length contrasting black and silver metal two-way open-ended zips run down each leg, allowing the trousers to open fully. This makes dressing much easier while seated or when using mobility equipment. The two-way zip design also allows the trousers to be partially opened to provide access to leg catheter bags, splints or prosthetics without needing to fully remove the garment.
The wider leg cut helps ensure comfort while seated in a wheelchair and allows more freedom of movement around splints or prosthetic limbs. Elasticated drawstrings at the waist and ankle allow the fit to be adjusted easily, and the hem can be gathered or left open to accommodate specialist boots or orthotic supports.
Small access openings in each hip pocket allow feeding tubes to be inserted discreetly. Accessible side pockets remain easy to reach when seated, while the protective zip guard at the back helps prevent rubbing against the legs during wear.
The tailored waistband design improves comfort in a seated position. A lower front waistband helps prevent bulky fabric gathering, while the higher back waistband provides additional coverage for individuals who use continence aids.
Combining everyday style with practical adaptive design, these navy cargo trousers are suitable for children, teenagers and adults who require accessible clothing that supports comfort, dignity and independence.
