How to Use Peejamas:

  • Initial Fitting: Please try the Peejamas on your child before use to ensure a snug fit around the legs and waist, accommodating for potential shrinkage of at least 1 inch due to the 100% cotton fabric.
  • Pre-Wash Instructions: Before regular use, prewash the bottoms inside out at least five times in cold water and tumble dry on low. This process helps to activate the absorbent materials. Shirts require only one prewash.
  • After-wash care: Wash Peejamas as needed on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low, preferably with the bottoms inside out for quicker drying. For best results, use a perfume—and dye-free detergent. For lingering odors, consider using a Borax solution.

Important Notes: Do not remove tags before confirming fit, as washed Peejamas cannot be returned. Follow the specific washing instructions to maintain Peejamas' effectiveness and durability.

Shipping

Fledglings currently ships within the United Kingdom (including the Isle of Man and Jersey) only. For international orders, please email us at enquiries@fledgings.org.uk as we may be able to arrange shipping offline.

Shipping within the UK

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. If your order is supplied by more than one supplier, an additional charge will be applied to contribute towards shipping costs. This helps us keep product prices as low as possible and more affordable than ordering from multiple retailers individually.

  • Royal Mail Tracked 48: £4.99
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24: £6.25
  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 orders must be placed before 12pm for same-day dispatch. Orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched the next working day.
  • Our warehouse is closed on weekends and bank holidays. Orders placed during this time will be dispatched the next working day.
  • Items supplied directly by some of our drop-ship partners cannot be sent First Class. Please check the ‘Shipping Information’ section of the product listing before ordering.
  • Some suppliers may not deliver large items to areas such as Northern Ireland, the Shetland Islands, Jersey, or Guernsey. Where delivery is possible, an additional charge may apply. Please contact us before placing your order.

Please note: Royal Mail Tracked 24 shipping does not guarantee next-day delivery. Once dispatched, delivery times are subject to Royal Mail.

Shipping outside the UK

We may be able to ship some items internationally. Standard shipping for small parcels to EU countries is £15.

Delivery

Royal Mail

Items in stock are usually dispatched within 2 working days of order processing and delivered to the address provided. Goods remain the property of Fledglings until full payment is received.

Drop-ship Items

Some products are shipped directly from our suppliers. Where this applies, it will be clearly shown under the ‘Shipping Information’ section of the product listing. Contact us if you need more details.

Returns & Cancellations

If you change your mind or are unhappy with your order, you may return items within 21 days of receipt. Please allow up to 10 working days for processing. Items must be in new condition with original packaging and tags intact. If swim or underwear the sanitary seal MUST be in situ.

To arrange a return, email enquiries@fledglings.org.uk with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return. We will provide the correct return address. Alternatively login to your order and start a return from the Orders page. 

Important Notes:

  1. Items must be returned with original packaging and tags. Refunds or exchanges will only be processed if the item can be resold.
  2. Custom or made-to-order products may not be refundable unless faulty. Please check product listings carefully before ordering.
  3. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on certain items such as underwear or jewellery. These will be clearly marked on the product listing.
  4. We strongly recommend using tracked postage when returning items, as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Processing can take up to 10 working days.
  5. If you receive a damaged or faulty item, we will refund the full cost including shipping once the item has been returned and assessed.

Unsuitable Returns

If an item is returned in a condition unsuitable for resale (e.g. used, damaged, missing packaging, or unhygienic), we cannot provide a full refund.

In such cases, you will be given two options:

  • We can return the item to you for a fee of £5 (payable in advance).
  • We may offer a partial refund at our discretion, depending on the condition of the item.

Any item that is returned more than 21 days after delivery

If the item is from our own warehouse, we can issue a partial refund, at our discretion, based on the condition of the item. If the item is from one of our suppliers we will liaise with them on your behalf.

Refunds (as applicable)

Once your return has been received and inspected, you will be notified by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  1. Refunds may take up to 3 working days to appear in your account once processed.
  2. Drop-ship suppliers may apply a restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund. Please contact us before ordering if you are unsure about an item’s suitability.

As a not for profit CIC, we kindly ask that customers cover the cost of return postage. Every purchase supports Contact, the national charity for families with disabled children.
