The Sensory Gel Liquid Floor Tiles are a set of six large interactive tiles designed for hands-on and movement-based sensory exploration. Each 50 x 50 cm tile contains brightly coloured liquid gel that moves, spreads and changes shape whenever pressure is applied.
Step, press, kneel or push on the surface and the liquid responds immediately beneath the user, creating constantly changing patterns. The soft, cushioned feel makes the tiles engaging to explore with hands, feet or mobility equipment and provides an immediate cause-and-effect response.
The six tiles can be arranged together to create a sensory floor area or used individually around a room for movement activities, sensory circuits and exploratory play. They can also be placed on a suitable tabletop or other flat surface for seated activities.
Designed for demanding sensory and educational environments, the tiles are waterproof, non-slip and robust enough to support children, adults, wheelchairs and trolleys. Each individual tile has a maximum load capacity of up to 500 kg.
The Sensory Gel Liquid Floor Tiles are suitable for children and adults who enjoy hands-on sensory exploration, pressure-responsive surfaces and movement-based activities.
They can be used for stepping, reaching, kneeling and pressing activities and may support gross motor development, balance, coordination, motor planning and body awareness when incorporated into movement routes or sensory circuits.
The robust construction and high load capacity also make the tiles suitable for inclusive environments, including use by wheelchair users. They work particularly well in sensory rooms, SEND classrooms, therapy settings, early years environments and home sensory spaces.
