SimplyWorks Wireless Joystick – Adaptive Mouse & Gaming Control

The SimplyWorks Wireless Joystick provides light-touch cursor control for users who find a conventional computer mouse difficult to operate. It forms part of the SimplyWorks wireless system and can be paired with a compatible receiver for accessible computer use, gaming or control of switch-adapted toys and appliances.

The joystick responds to just 0.5 Newtons of force, allowing the cursor to be moved with very little hand, wrist or arm movement. Four cursor-speed settings help match the movement to the user’s preferred pace and level of control.

Dedicated buttons provide left click, right click and drag lock. The right-click button can alternatively be configured as a double-click button, while the left- and right-click functions can be swapped for left-handed use. Two 3.5mm sockets allow compatible external switches to operate the corresponding button functions.

The standard joystick handle can be replaced with the included T-bar or soft ball handle, providing different options for gripping or pushing the control. Its low-profile shape also creates a natural resting position for the hand during use.

With a wireless operating range of more than 10 metres, the joystick can be positioned wherever it is most accessible. It is particularly useful in classrooms and group sessions, where it can be used away from the computer or passed between participants.

The SimplyWorks Joystick can also be switched from mouse mode to gaming mode. It can operate as a left or right analogue stick for compatible PC games and can be used with an Xbox Adaptive Controller. When paired with a suitable SimplyWorks toy or appliance receiver, movement of the joystick acts like a wireless wobble switch.

A built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides several months of typical use between charges. Charging takes approximately four hours from fully discharged, and the joystick can continue to be used while charging.
