The SPIO Core-Max® Expedition is a paediatric TLSO compression vest designed to provide deep pressure input, trunk stability and adaptable postural support.

This advanced SPIO TLSO combines the benefits of a traditional SPIO compression orthosis with a rigid posterior trunk support system. It is designed for children who may need more structured support than compression alone, while still allowing functional movement and flexibility.

The Core-Max® Expedition features the SPIO® X posterior panel system. The mouldable, flexible Kydex X-panels fit into the back panel and can be used in different combinations to provide varying levels of support. As a child’s trunk control develops, the level of mechanical support can be adjusted by changing or removing the panels or stays.
