The STRONGTEX Anti-Ligature Gown is designed to offer enhanced safety and comfort in high-risk settings. With a loose fit to support ease of movement and breathability, the gown is designed to be straightforward to dress and undress, supporting caregiver assistance while maintaining dignity.
A smooth-finish interior is gentle against the skin to help minimise irritation and potential agitation. The high-drape fabric conforms softly to the body without feeling restrictive, while the high tear-resistance construction is designed to withstand demanding environments.
Designed without ties, elastic or strings, the gown is specifically crafted to help reduce the risk of ligature formation in high-risk settings. It is made from inherently flame-retardant polyester, with reinforced stitching using fire-retardant meta-aramid thread, and can be thermally disinfected at 71°C for infection-control compliance.
STRONGTEX clothing is designed for durability but is not indestructible. It complements, not replaces, the need for supervision and care.
