The STRONGTEX Anti-Ligature Shorts combine the lighter feel of shorts with the advanced durability required in high-risk settings. Designed to support comfort, dignity and safety, they provide a non-restrictive fit while maintaining the strength needed for demanding environments.
The smooth finish interior is gentle against the skin, helping to reduce irritation and potential agitation during periods of distress. Adjustable hook and loop fastening allows for a secure, customisable fit and enables caregivers to assist with dressing and undressing while respecting the individual’s dignity.
Manufactured without ties, elastic or strings, these shorts are specifically designed to help reduce the risk of ligature formation. Made from inherently flame-retardant polyester and reinforced with fire-retardant meta-aramid stitching, they can be thermally disinfected to meet healthcare infection-control standards.
STRONGTEX clothing is designed for durability but is not indestructible. It complements, not replaces, the need for supervision and care.
