The Trumpet & Cornet Holder is a supportive bracket designed to hold a trumpet or cornet securely on a stand, allowing musicians to play without needing to support the full weight of the instrument.

Developed in partnership with the OHMI Trust, this practical solution is ideal for musicians who require additional support due to reduced strength, mobility, or coordination. By stabilising the instrument, it enables greater comfort, control, and confidence during performance.

The holder attaches directly to the instrument using cable ties and works in conjunction with a compatible stand, creating a stable and reliable playing setup.

Key Features

  • Supports trumpet or cornet during play to reduce physical strain
  • Helps maintain stable instrument positioning
  • Simple attachment using included cable ties
  • Designed to be used with compatible cymbal stands
  • Supports independent music participation

Why use an instrument support?

Holding and positioning a brass instrument can be physically demanding. Using a support holder reduces strain and helps maintain consistent positioning, allowing the musician to focus on playing rather than managing the weight of the instrument.

This can improve comfort, extend playing time, and support greater independence in music-making.

Compatibility

The holder has been tested with and fits the following models:

  • Jupiter: JTR500Q, JTR700Q, JTR1100Q, JTR1110RQ
  • Yamaha: YTR-200ADii

Compatible Stands

The Trumpet Holder is designed for use with the following Millenium cymbal stands (available separately):

  • CB-801 – includes horizontal arm for positioning away from the central post
  • CB-901 – heavier-duty version with additional height
  • CS-901 – vertical stand without horizontal arm

Additional compatible instruments can be viewed via the Jupiter range on the Stentor website: View Jupiter instruments

Additional Information

  • Attaches using cable ties (included)
  • Stand not included
  • Designed for use with trumpets and cornets

The Trumpet & Cornet Holder is also used as an adaptive instrument support, brass instrument stand aid, or accessible music solution. It is particularly helpful for musicians who need assistance maintaining instrument position, supporting inclusive participation in music at home, in school, or in therapy settings.
