Description

The Pretorian Ultra Joystick is a compact and exceptionally robust USB joystick designed for mounted computer, tablet and gaming access. Its small dimensions make it particularly suitable for users who control a pointer using their head or chin, although it may also be operated using another controlled movement.

The joystick body and its threaded mounting holes are made entirely from metal, providing the durability needed for regular use on wheelchairs and other assistive mounting systems. A selection of interchangeable joystick knobs is supplied to help identify the most comfortable and effective control option for the individual user.

Two standard 3.5mm sockets allow external assistive switches to provide left click, right click, double-click or drag functions. Each socket can be programmed independently, allowing the mouse actions to be matched to the user’s preferred switch positions and available movements.

For users who find separate switches difficult to operate, the built-in dwell-click function can automatically perform a click when the pointer remains over an on-screen item. Four cursor-speed settings allow movement to be adjusted for greater accuracy or faster navigation.
