Encourage open-ended outdoor exploration with the Wooden Water Channelling Set. This set of eight long wooden channels can be arranged on blocks, crates or suitable stands to create sloping tracks for water, balls, toy cars and other small objects.
Children can experiment with different heights, angles and layouts to discover how quickly objects travel and how water flows from one channel to another. The separate channel sections can be positioned together to create long runs, branching routes or simple cause-and-effect activities.
Made from stained wood, each channel measures approximately 105cm long. The set is ideal for water play, outdoor classrooms, early years environments and messy-play areas, and can be combined with water tables, sand resources and loose-parts play equipment.
Please note: The wooden channels must be supported on stable, suitable equipment before use. Children should not stand or climb on the channels. Inspect the wood regularly for cracks, splinters or damage, and allow it to dry thoroughly after water play. Adult supervision is required.
