The Therapy Peanut Ball Anti-Burst - Yellow 35cm is designed for therapeutic movement, balance, posture and core-strength activities.

Its peanut shape offers more stability than a traditional round therapy ball because movement is mainly limited to forwards and backwards. This can make it easier to control, especially for children or adults who need additional support with balance, coordination or postural control.

The ball can be used for seated activities, straddling, supported movement, therapy exercises and balance work. It may be used at home, in schools, therapy settings or sensory integration spaces under adult supervision.

The yellow 35cm size is the smaller option in this range. For a larger size, please see the Therapy Peanut Ball Anti-Burst - Blue 65cm.

Sensory Needs Supported

  • Vestibular - Supports controlled movement, balance and body position changes through gentle rocking or seated movement.

Choosing the Correct Size

As a quick guide, measure the distance from the user’s armpit to the middle fingertip and match this measurement to the height of the ball, within approximately 5cm.

This is only a starting point. We recommend seeking advice from an occupational therapist or physiotherapist when choosing the most suitable therapy ball size.

When the user is straddling the centre of the ball, their weight should be evenly distributed and their feet should be flat on the ground. Ideally, the knees should be level with the pelvis, creating a 90-degree angle at both the hips and knees, with the thighs parallel to the ground.

The user’s head, shoulders and pelvis should be in a vertical line, without needing to lean as a counterbalance. The ball can be inflated or deflated slightly to adjust the height, but it should remain firm enough to sit on and must not exceed the maximum recommended size.

A fully inflated ball will compress less and may feel less stable, making some exercises more challenging. Letting a little air out can increase rolling resistance and provide greater stability.

The size quoted is the maximum size the ball will inflate to when pumped to its maximum. The peanut ball will still function when inflated to around 80% of its maximum size.

For example, the yellow 35cm peanut ball will be 35cm high when fully inflated, but can still be used when inflated to approximately 32cm. At this size it will feel slightly softer and more pliable, but can still be used.

Shipping Information within the UK

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

If your order includes items from more than one supplier, an additional charge may apply to contribute towards shipping costs. This allows us to keep product prices as low as possible rather than building delivery costs into every item.

Why We’ve Made Changes to Our Shipping

Royal Mail recently increased its prices to us by over 30%. We made the decision not to pass that full increase directly on to our customers.

To help keep delivery charges as fair and sustainable as possible, we have moved to DPD for all orders dispatched from our own warehouse.

Warehouse Orders (Dispatched by Fledglings)

DPD £5.49 + VAT

  • Order cut-off time: 12:00pm
  • Orders placed before 12:00pm will be dispatched the same day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday)
  • We do not dispatch on Thursdays. This helps us manage rising courier costs and keep delivery charges lower overall.
  • Our warehouse is closed at weekends and on bank holidays.

Once dispatched, you will receive tracking details directly from DPD.
