Phillips-Tuftex, with its rich history dating back to the early 1880s, was founded in Nuneaton. It owes its inception to Alfred William Phillips, a pioneer who crafted the world's first hand-stitched tennis ball.

During the tumultuous times of the First World War, the company's production portfolio expanded to encompass hand-stitched footballs and rugby balls, many of which found their way to the armed forces, serving our country. In 1914, the iconic Tuftex trademark was born, marking a significant milestone in the company's journey. Alongside its sports equipment legacy, the Tuftex brand began to flourish.

Today, Phillips-Tuftex has broadened its horizon, offering a diverse array of sports and activity goods. Their product line extends to include an extensive selection of accessories, fitness equipment, specialised kit packages, and sensory equipment.
