MERU is now part of Cerebra

For many years, MERU developed innovative assistive products for disabled children and young people, working with families and professionals to create practical solutions for everyday access, play, communication and independence.

In 2026, the MERU team joined UK charity Cerebra. Although the MERU name is being retired, the team's specialist design and engineering expertise continues as part of Cerebra's work supporting children with neurological conditions and their families.

The range includes familiar products such as Flexzi mounting systems, switches, accessible controls and specialist equipment designed to make technology, learning and everyday activities more accessible.

Fledglings continues to stock these established products while the MERU range transitions into the Cerebra brand.
