Events
Welcome to our events page.
Fledglings is the not-for-proft shop of the national charity Contact. We are an online shop, but Lisa (the Head of Fledglings), does try to get out and about to attend a few exhibitons and conferences. If you are attending any of these and would like to know more about what we sell and how we can help, stop by and say hello. We are keen to learn and understand what products can really benefit families. Always open to ideas and suggestions, we continually add to our produt range to cover as many disabilities as possible.

Practioners!
Attention to all practitioners dedicated to supporting families and caregivers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND):
With more than 40 years’ experience working in co-production with parents and carers of children with SEND, and with an extensive community of specialist trainers and consultants, we are well-placed to support you in your work with families and carers of disabled children.
Our workshop content is developed and delivered by parent carers with lived experience of the topics they specialise in, and they bring the skills and knowledge to life by sharing their experiences and creating a safe space for other parent carers to share theirs. Our expert trainers are also invited to speak at events across the UK.
Our commitment to coproduction and championing parent voice has made us a trusted source of knowledge and expertise when it comes to understanding what parent carers need and want. We have supported multiple organisations across many sectors with bespoke solutions to hearing parent carers and developing services that are fit for purpose.
Our services span from crafting sensory-friendly environments to tailoring bespoke training materials for specific target groups. We excel in program implementation and seamlessly fill gaps in NHS service delivery through our team of Senior Parent Advisors, acting as a dependable resource for direct referrals for families engaged in consultant and paediatric care.
