The Table Top Light Panel with Coloured Rods is an interactive accessory designed to fit the large Sand and Light Table, transforming it into a hands-on colour and pattern activity. The wooden panel features 64 circular openings and is supplied with 64 assorted coloured acrylic rods that glow when illuminated from below.
Children can insert, remove and rearrange the rods to create patterns, pictures and colour combinations, then change the light colour beneath them to see how the appearance of the rods changes. This makes the panel a simple but highly engaging way to explore colour, sequencing, pattern-making and visual cause and effect.
The generous 57 cm square format provides plenty of space for individual or shared activities, making it suitable for classrooms, sensory rooms, therapy settings and home learning environments.
