The Fledglings Bodyworn Sleepsuit in Blue is designed to help children stay securely and comfortably covered throughout the night. The zip-front design makes changing more convenient and stress-free for both children and carers. It also helps prevent the wearer from accessing their nappy, reducing the risk of smearing and promoting dignity and hygiene.

This unique sleepsuit is especially helpful for children and adults with sensory needs, learning disabilities, autism or conditions that may involve undressing during sleep. The snug, body-worn style provides a comforting sense of security while reducing night-time disturbances caused by kicked-off covers or clothing removal.

Safety & Flammability Testing

This sleepsuit has undergone flammability testing in accordance with the methods specified in the standards below. Results confirm the garment was tested for surface ignition using the prescribed procedure.

Standards

  • BS EN ISO 6941:2003 — Clause 10.1 (Surface ignition) test method
  • BS EN 1103:2005 — Requirement to apply the BS EN ISO 6941 surface ignition method for textile fabrics intended for clothing

What this means

  • Fabric specimens were assessed for behaviour when exposed to a defined ignition source.
  • Testing followed the surface ignition procedure set out in BS EN ISO 6941:2003, as required by BS EN 1103:2005.
  • Testing was performed on representative production fabric for this garment.

Note: These tests assess fabric behaviour under controlled laboratory conditions. Always keep children away from fire and other heat sources.

Changes to Supply:

Our original seamstress has now retired, but we are pleased to continue offering this important product. The pattern has been officially handed over to one of our trusted UK suppliers. Please note:

  • Maximum available length is currently 180cm
  • Extra-wide options are not available at this time
  • Fabric colours or patterns may vary slightly once existing pink and blue stock is used
