n-ABLER Joystick – Adaptive Computer Mouse

Description

The n-ABLER Joystick is an adaptable alternative to a standard computer mouse, designed for users who find conventional mice difficult, uncomfortable or tiring to operate. The light-touch joystick requires only minimal hand movement, helping users navigate, select and manipulate items on screen with less effort.

Its ergonomic, symmetrical design supports comfortable right- or left-handed use without requiring the wrist to be held at an angle. A large integrated palm rest and stable base provide additional support, making the n-ABLER Joystick suitable for children and adults with limited movement, reduced dexterity, motor skill difficulties or poor hand-eye co-ordination.

Dedicated buttons perform commonly used mouse actions, including double-click and drag lock, without requiring the user to complete difficult repeated or sustained movements. Adjustable cursor speed and single-axis control allow the pointer movement to be tailored to the user’s accuracy, range of movement and preferred pace.

For users unable to operate the built-in buttons, two programmable 3.5mm sockets allow compatible external switches to control any of the six button functions. Alternatively, the programmable Dwell Click function can automatically perform a chosen click action after the cursor remains still for a selected period, allowing completely switch-free operation.
